May 29, 2010, Danit & Max were happily married on the stunning roof-top of the Marriott Hotel in Marina Dey Rey, California. We had a bright sunny day and it was all picture perfect.
From the rich, dark purple calla lily’s, the gorgeous floral chuppah, the ceremony timed at sunset ……… to the rockin’ DJ playlist, elegant designed table tops, and heart-felt toasts, this wedding was incredibly planned. The attention to fine detail made this day stunning and classy. And the best part — everyone had a blast! I mean, check out the crazy-fun dancing photos below. I think the photos will speak for themselves!

I met Jenn & Zack at a room at The Georgian Hotel on a gorgeous day in Santa Monica. They had their sweet chocolate silver lab, Toro, with them so we couldn’t exclude him from the session. For being a puppy, he was pretty dang well behaved. We all had a fabulous time. I especially love the shots beneath the Santa Monica Pier!
A big congrats to Jenn & Zack on their engagement. I wish I had been available to photograph their wedding in Maui this coming October, but thankful they chose me to capture this special time in their lives! And, a special thanks to my very sweet assistant, Nikki Ruskit.

Meet Joann and David. They are one of the sweetest couples I have photographed. They met at Berkeley University, became best friends …. and as the years went by, became truly in love with each other. The photos below (I hope) show how smitten they are for one another.
We went up to Temascal Gateway Park in Malibu and then headed to the beach-side bluffs to catch the sunset at the amazing & delicious restaurant called The Collection Restaurant & Bar (we ended up eating dinner. YUM). My favorite part of the day was witnessing them carefully walking (aka shuffle on their seats) across the fallen tree that layed across a stream. One of the attributes I love about love is trust, communication & support and this moment really exemplified to me how much they are in love and perfect for each other.
I am so excited to photograph their wedding in a few weeks! Hope you enjoy these highlights from their engagement session.
